non windows mobile

hello all,

even though this site is aimed at smartphones/pocketpcs(i totally love my spv m2000 i hasten to add), for reasons i'm not sure of yet i'm wanting a 'normal mobile phone. does anyone have any views/opinions on what 'non windows' mobile is considered the best/good/cool etc ?

i recently saw pics of the sony ericsson k800i and the w850i phones. they look attractive and have goood spec. is sony ericsson a good brand ?
