:) Anyone knows how I can do that? I got a lot of phone entries which I want to move to the SIM card because I'm going to hardreset my phone.

Not sure how to move to SIM card, but you could probably do it easier by just syncing your contacts with Outlook?

I'm in the same boat. There is no optipns to save to the SIM card or to the Mini SD. The SIM only has a limitted amount of memory to store contacts. As far as I can tell, in WM5 there is only an option to Show SIM contacts under Settings->Phone->Call Options.

What I'd really like is a hack to move the contacts data or any of the data sync with Outlook to the Mini SD of the phone, but I'm afraid that MS set all the data that's synchronized with Outlook to be store *only* in the main memory of smartphones and PDAs.

There are couple ways to restore your contacts data if your phone is reset. You can sync with Outlook or you can use a backup program such as Sprite Backup. Install the program and save the backup file to the Mini SD so that you can restore your phone without a PC.

I use Personal Mobile Vault (PMVault) http://1800message.com/default.aspx to archive my contacts, pictures, notes... etc in the 1800messages.com web site. If you have a lot of data you might have to spend a couple bucks in data minutes to do the initial archive over GPRS/EDGE unless you do it via ActiveSync. I have a Qtek 8310 with WiFi and so I'm not affected by these limitations. If I loose my phone or if it fails I can get to the data by accessing the 1800message web site. Btw, I also use Intellisync for Yahoo to access all of my Oulook data with a browser from anywhere and to restore the contents of Outlook if I have failure in my main computer.

Disclaimer: I'm in no way related to any of the companies mentioned above. I also don't know how secure your data will be once is store there.
