Guest corrina Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 Did you purchase protected music in WMA or M4P format online? It seems that I've found a way to listen to it whereever I want to... I've tested SoundTaxi audio converter and it removes DRM protection quite well... Do you think it's a good idea? :)
Guest fraser Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Anything that removes this is a good thing. Though could you please refer to it by it's proper name, Digital Restrictions Management. It's all short term anyway. Once downloads are the norm they'll pass laws forcing interoperability; France is already in the process of doing this. That may be the end of DRM, though instead it might be replaced by a fair, open standard that all the retailers and hardware players can compete on a level playing field. Anythings better than "fairplay"!!
Guest corrina Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Yeah! Law has to protect the rights of common customers, who take the songs only to private use!!! :)
Guest corrina Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 Note, it's better download this tool from the official site! There's the latest version - 1.8!
