O2 Xda IIs does not recognise new 2gb sd card

Hi all

I have recently purchased a 2Gb SanDisk SD card for my IIs.

I have formatted the card as FAT with a card reader, and the card works fine in a digital camera, but my IIs refuses to even acknowledge the existence of the card. I've done soft resets, I've inserted it with the unit on, off, and with the battery removed with no effect.

I'm running 2003SE and I don't know what else I can do. The SD card isn't really big or heavy enough to use as a paperweight, so I'd love to get it working...

Any tips or tricks I can use to bend the IIs to my will and get it to see the card?
