Guest SilentBob Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Hi, I have noticed that for Blutooth connectivity the name from the "Owner Information" is used. Is it possible to change it so that it picks up the name to use from somewhere else? Such as the device name? Or a custom name purely for bluetooth purposes?
Guest Pigo Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 when your owner info is empty it picks up your device name. Pigo
Guest SilentBob Posted July 12, 2006 Report Posted July 12, 2006 Problem is that I have completed the owner information. I think it is a good idea should I lose my phone and it is actually found by someone honest enough to return it. Is there no registry setting that can be changed to either force it to use the device name or to force it to use a custom name?
