Guest Confucious Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Hopefully we'll get to see this at the meet today! :)
Guest Shuflie Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 Hopefully we'll get to see this at the meet today! :) Did you?
Guest Confucious Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 Of course! :) Everything was at the meet and it was great chatting to the guys at Astraware. It does look rather good!
Guest Shuflie Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 Would love to have gone, but living in Belfast makes it a bit difficult to get there.
Guest Confucious Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 What sort of a feeble excuse is that ? ;) You missed the best meet yet - so you don't get the Ltd edition Modaco C600 like all those who attended did :)
Guest Shuflie Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) Would have liked one of those too, but only if it can be unlocked to T-mobile. If there were any left over how about a prize draw for those of us unlucky enough to not to be able to get to the meet? EDIT: This is getting very off topic, just to get it back on the right tracks would you recommend getting Broken Sword? Edited July 16, 2006 by Shuflie
Guest Confucious Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 Leftover? surely thou jests! Would I recommend Broken Sword? If you like that sort of adventure game then an unequivocable yes! They have done an excelent job of reproducing the orriginal and then compressing it to a useable size (can't remember if he said 140 or 180Mb)

They have done an excelent job of reproducing the orriginal and then compressing it to a useable size (can't remember if he said 140 or 180Mb) for the full game it will be 116mb big so its small enough to fit on a 128mb card :)
Guest Confucious Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 as opposed to the 600mb plus of the original game. They've done a cracking job1
Guest futaris Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Yeah, but you can run this through ScummVM on Windows Mobile if you've got the data files, you know...
Guest Confucious Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 Yes, we know that - and it's a pain isn't it? How big are the files? This is the full game that runs with no problems and fits in 128Meg card. I can't be bothered with ScummVM, if you can and have legal data files then great, I don't.
