Tricky's coming home

Hi all

Next month my mobile contract will be 12 months old and so I get to upgrade my phone. I've been on a SE K750i since last August and to be honest, apart from the camera which is pretty good, there's not a lot else going for it. almost a year down the line and I'm still adding new ones to 'My Words'... horrible navigation and freeze-ups on Bluetooth etc.

I'm coming back to Windows powered Smartphone or Pocket PC (WM 5.0?)

Got my eye on the O2 xda Exec - it's a pretty funky piece of kit but can I use it as a computer through my wireless router and so avoid hefty data charges? can I tailor the homescreen like I did on my MPX200? What about Instant Messenger, can I use that? can it play games? (essential for those boring meetings)

Any advice you experts can give me (I've not followed the scene really) would be welcome, including other funky phones to check out.

Ive just got back here after a year odd off as well, got a C600 to re-educate myself. Unless I'm mistaken I would say yes to all your questions. Messenger,customisation and I think the exec is 3G so WiFi will be available. Not sure about the camera 1.3MP you'll have to dig deeper for info on that.....
