Brando i-mate K-JAM Music Dock

Have just taken delivery of the Brando Music Dock and what a great bit of kit at only $32 direct from http://shop.brando.com.hk/imatekjammusicdock.php.

I was expecting sound and quality to be poor bit I am pleasantly surprised. On our trips we have been taking some battery powered speakers which were adequate - just. This bit of kit is very light to transport, sound and volume are fine (don't expect stereo quality) and also doubles as a pretty smart docking station.

Just thought I would share my unbiased views.

I have also the same music dock - very good and plays suprisingly loud! Better if you use core player and a bit more treble with the graphic equalizer and another tip - dont use the mains adapter supplied with it - it does not have enough amperage output and there is a funny thump on the music dock. Use the standard charger with it and the noise will go. Awesome esp for trips!

Thanks for the charger tip - I had noticed and was a little concerned about how hot the supplied power adapter plug got. Have not tries Core Player will see if I can locate a download and give it a whirl.
