Guest nevawlkalone Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 I have been sent a HTML email over outlook that contains some funny pictures, however they arnt attachments they are actually embedded in the email. For example the mail looks like the following... TEXT IMAGE TEXT IMAGE Etc Now what i want to know is how to get those images (animateed GIF's) from the email to the MY documents folder! All help appreciated M
Guest jimbouk Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 The images are hosted on a webserver. If you right click them, you should have "save picture as" option, If not, you can view the message's source and thus get the links to the actual files and then view them in a web-browser and thus save them.
Guest nevawlkalone Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 (edited) If you right click them, you should have "save picture as" option, I do but it wants to save them as .bmp files when they are .gif (animated). If not, you can view the message's source and thus get the links to the actual files and then view them in a web-browser and thus save them. Will give it a shot...cheers ________________________________________________________________________________ After the above advice, i tried to view the source but to no avail.
