Upgrade only Problem Solved

hi all i had a problem with my c600 when trying to upgrade my c600 to the latest rom my pc froze and my phone would only boot to the three colour screen :)

after abit of playing about i found someone mentioning that the altered the header numbers, this didnt work with the orange rom, i then aquired the imate and changed the header to orange and then increased every number in ther version and secondary version by one.

that worked!! but now i had the imate rom on which thought i had wifi!! (on closer inspection found it said driver not loaded) though the rom was unstable so i cid unlocked it.

this then allowed me to put the orange rom with the original header file.

no the fone is fine.

phew thought i had a paperweight.

just thought id post incase anyone else gets this problem.
