Guest hempo Posted July 22, 2006 Report Posted July 22, 2006 Yesterday i noticed a little odd problem, i can't get mp3 files to start in WMP directly from the File Manager, WMP starts but then i get a screen that says "Warning, unknown error occured 0X80070002" Though i can start them from the library in WMP. I can also open them from File Manager to TCMP. But not use them as ringtones, doesn't matter if they're in the phonememory. Anyone else who had this problem? Or anyone who knows how to fix it? I've tried to move every file from the storage card and back again but with the same result. Thankful for any help Emil
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 This sounds like the problem where MP3s get unassociated from WMP. There are 2 things to try : 1. Uninstall TCPMP and reboot the phone. 2. Use File Manager or Binarys Smart Explorer to reassociate MO3s with WMP. Hopefully it is that simple.

I should also say that the problem started when i installed Pocketmusic v0.2. That program automatically changed the association that mp3s started in that program instead of WMP. I uninstalled it and rebooted the phone still the problem persists. I'm gonna try and search for the error code i get and see if i can find any answers. Cheers

Guest hempo Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 Fixed it, didn't see any other solution than a reset so... but know everything works the way it should again :)
