Guest witchnut Posted July 23, 2006 Report Posted July 23, 2006 Switching off my C600, either by long depress of on/off button, or by short depress and selecting option 1 "Power Off" causes the device to hang, indicator lights keep flashing, doesn't respond to anything and I just have to pull the battery. Any ideas to fix it? Witchnut

Hi ! seems that wm5 is waiting for an app to finish, but one of the running applications is hung. One thing to do is basically trying to close app (use task manager) before shutting down the C600 and test 1 by 1 wich one cause the problem.. Edited July 25, 2006 by scudo

Good suggestion, I killed all running apps, then touched on/off button, brought up quicklist, selected 1 = Power Off and its hung on the quicklist menu. I dont know whether there is a connection but my phone also has a problem where I cant use the camera or video because if I do I get the access denied message and a system hang. More suggestions? More suggestions? hi :) not sure... maybe like our old windows, bad dll somewhere... have you "exotic" apps installed (specially "low level ones") ? try remove some... last thing to try should be an hard reset (doing this, you loose all datas...), it "installs" WM5 from rom, so if that annoyances continue, it could be hardware problem (but I think it's soft, due to error message on photo) Edited July 26, 2006 by scudo
