Guest Warborg Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 Hello, I've been browsing here for a while, first time poster. I have a Cingular 8125 that I've recently aquired, and love it for the most part. The only real problem I'm having is when I pull it out of it's holster to answer it, I manage to snag the 'ignore' button half the time and drop the call. I have it set to lock the buttons except for the power button, but I know when the phone rings the phone will wake up. I want to be able to pull the phone out and answer it easily, without having to set the device to put in a PIN or anything to access the phone... Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to pull this off? I did do a few searches, but didn't find anything that would really help on this (or maybe I just suck at searches, I dunno?)... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :)
Guest Warborg Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 No one? No one at all run into this? Your kidding...
Guest pdtp Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 i dont use the case i thought the thing was a joke to begin with. i wear corgo paints and shorts all the time i just make sure that when i get a new pair that there is enough room for the phone in my paints ;) It also helps that i have a PSP lanyard atached to the phone which makes it quite easy to take it in and out of my pocket. My job is really laid back i can wear blue jeans to work :)
Guest Warborg Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Unfortunately, I like quick access from my belt... That, and I can't wear cargo pants at work... :/ Huh, so NO ONE has had this problem... Huh... I'm impressed. Seems rather easy to press those buttons when pulling the phone out. Heck, I'd be happy with the suggestion of a better designed case that wouldn't cause this.
Guest pdtp Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 there has been some discutions on cases befor (can tseam to find the one im after at the moment) and there was this really nice case that was awallet too and allowed verry easy use of the keyboard was about $30 USD.
Guest hotphil Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 I have encountered this. I found the trick is either to have the phone in my pocket or not to pull it out the case - push it. I use gap in the bottom of the case push the phone up and out of the case into my waiting palm. doing it this way stops me putting my hand in case causing it to bend and depress the keys. not sure if there are any alternative cases out there - strikes me as a difficult device to make one for. i've not looked mind, if anyone knows of one I might consider it.
