Guest shuikit Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 The volume slider on my Qtek S200 has broken. It's just the black plastic bit on the outside, the actual switch itself is working okay. I've emailed HTC support who say I have to send my device to Germany which seems quite a bit excessive! Does anyone know of anywhere I can obtain a replacement? Sending my S200 to Germany sounds expensive and full of hassle! Thanks sk
Guest fluffcat1 Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 Easily swopped over - no dissassembly necessary. Did you get your s200 through Dangard Telecom distribution or a sub agent by any chance? Did you ring their english - speaking german phone number? They are quite helpful with qteks. Anyway... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=140011816487 Richard
Guest shuikit Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 Thanks for the reply I actually purchased my S200 from Rankhour.com, I didn't realise it was an imported device until I emailed HTC europe for support. They told me to contact www.teleservice.com in Flensburg who I have emailed but they haven't replied yet. I've also emailed Rankhour who haven't replied. Would there be anywhere I could get just the volume slider rather than the whole casing??

Guest shuikit Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 I've called my retailer (rankhour.com) who said that if I send it to them they will send it to the service centre in Germany but it will take aroun 4-5 weeks! Does anyone have experience with these service centres?? 5 weeks seems like a very slow turn around.
