Guest stebbo Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 So, I installed a new homescreen, ran it, but alas, it doesn't work. It just hangs for 5 mins, then displays a white screen saying 'no home screens found'. Menu, start or whatever it's called doens't work, so I can get to unsistall or change home screen. My hotkeys do work, but I havn't hotkeyed anything useful to get me out of this. What should I do?

I would probably be plugging it in to my PC to see if it would activesynch ..... if it did, I'd delete the offending file and see if worked after that. If no activesynch, I would probably hard reset it ..... bit of a last resort though, as all the data stored on the 'phone would be lost forever.............. Good luck :) Cheers, Dan.
Guest mandt Posted July 25, 2006 Report Posted July 25, 2006 (edited) Try this, (PS doing this from memory so I might not be 100% accurate) Connect your phone to your PC, In your windows folder there is a shortcut called 'Long_poc' which is a long press of down on the volume key (edit: or maybe it's up, Like i say memory...) edit it to point to 'settings.lnk' and you should be able to change your homescreen (or uninstall the dodgy one) Edited July 25, 2006 by mandt
