Nevermind, I forced myself to learn the basics of XML and figured out how to make (or modify) the file. Much thanks to w411y for his great tutorial.

When using the original Icons home screen, when I hit the power button to bring up the power off option, or change profiles, the check mark that indicates the current profile is white, but so is the background, so you can't see which profile is selected unless you move down the list, highlighting each one to create contrast to find the hidden check box. Make sense? How do I fix? Is that in the xml for the home screen as well?
