Guest Posted July 26, 2006 Report Posted July 26, 2006 Hi all, I've got a problem with TomTom Navigator 5 running on my SPV M500 (patched to version 5.21). After about 1-1/2 hours of running, TomTom will freeze up and the only way to clear it is to get the stylus out and soft reset the phone (a tricky procedure while driving along the M6!). I have read in other forums that this can be caused by SD cards going to "sleep" (apparently a common problem with HTC devices). I tried removing the SD card while TomTom was running and, low and behold, it froze just like it does on the motorway. Is there any registry tweak or software out there that I can use to stop my SD card from going to sleep? The only other option is to by another SD card or try an MMC card which is also known to resolve the problem - but I would like to avoid splashing out on a new card if at all possible! :) Any help would be much appreciated.
