US T-Mobile SDA, using as a modem, settings?

Ok, i have scoured, and well i guess, i havn't added all the info together..

What and how do i get online with my laptop, with my SDA..

once the connection has been made what do i dial.. to get GPRS on?

About to take a cross country trip and would like to be able to check email and stuff on the road.

Any suggestions? or anyone have instructions and settings?

make a new connection.. number is *99#

no username, no password

use ur sda HTC Modem in properties or IR Modem if uve used IRcomm in modem link of ur SDA
