Orange Do Have The C600 for Upgrade

I read that some members were having problems tracking down the C600 and orange were telling them it was out of stock ...

Last week I cancelled a 'Spare' phone I had on contract with Orange for a few years , that I hadn't upgraded in a while. Before cancelling the phone I rang and asked for an upgrade to the C600, 'Sorry out of stock', but well send you a noki* , no thanks said I ,cancel the phone then !

Anyhoo got a reasonably nice begging letter not to leave orange , when I came home from work. It was lovely and made me all tearful , and had a little number at the bottom to call to see if I would stay.

Rang the number , stayed on hold for 20 minutes and got a nice guy who was all setup to send me a C600,

then he said but you have to give me 4.99 over the phone, now.

Do I , says I , Why ~ just add it to my bill .

Beleive it or not the phone disconnected at that point! I don't think he hung up , just think he hit the wrong button on his PC .

Instead of hanging on a phone for 20 minutes I raced to the local orange shop , arriving at 2045 (they shut at 2100), they gave me a c600 upgrade , and charged me
