Guest carmel Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 Hi folks My C550 was getting sluggish and unpredictable so i thought I'd give a spring clean and delete a load of stuff I no longer use. Unfortunately , when I turn it on now i get a message saying "No language dat file " Now I don't remember deleting anything that looked essential but obviously I have . So, how do I get it back without hopefully having to do a full reset and loose other stuff I have installed ? :)
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Without knowing what you have deleted it's a bit hard not to suggest a hard reset. It's never advisable to just delete files manually unless you are 100% sure what they are and what tehy do. I presume you have tried to soft reset already?

Anyway a hard reset has restored the status quo and it only took an hour or so to re install the programs I lost. Thanks for replying.
