yes i love my 2125 and swore off blackberrys for as long as i could. got a blackberry issued to me at new job and well WM 5 could learn a thing or two it seems.

1. built in cut and paste! god i love it!

2. send email attachments, cant just attach any file you want in WM 5. someone sends you a word doc you edit it and well cant send it back to them?

3. ability to set different email notice tones, WM 5 only lets you set one. cant differentiate urgent or important emails from regular ones.

4. ability to choose per email reply whether to include previous response or not.

i will say the new direct push upgrade from HTC and cingular is nice in that emails arrive on phone just as quick as the blackberry.

really trying to just use 2125 but its missing some very basic features.

Try WM5 Push email on a PPC - it's much better than on a blackberry!

Care to elaborate a little? I am NOT a pro blackberry person, in fact quite the opposite. However I do find in comparing my 2125 as a blackberry replacement since the new ROM that allows for the direct push, it is lacking in some very basic functions that the blackberry has.

My number 1 issue is lack of cut and paste functions. Second would be attachments.

Please give me more details on the PPC and how it addresses these issues I list. I wonder if the 8125 is considered a PPC and resolve the features I find lacking in the WM5 2125.

You can cut and paste on a PPC and it handles attachments far better than a Blackberry as it has Pocket Word, Excel etc.

I use it on a Universal and it is great with 3G!

You can also cut and paste on PPCs

with Xbar for Smartphone you can also "cut & paste", it's not free but it rocks

within "File Explorer", goto a file, "right soft button", option 5 "Send", (Email or Beam).

It's not really great but it works :)
