Guest rasncain Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 anyone know of a way to set a different email notification tones per contact ? would like the ability to set different notification tones so that i can identify important emails. now that i am using my 2125 as a replacement to my blackberry it would be nice to differentiate emails based on tones. for example one tone for boss, one for unknown contacts, one for emails from network monitoring software and so on. could do this on my blackberry with third party software and found it invalueable. same basic premise as having different ring tones for contacts. any thing out there for WM 5 smart phone?
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 individual ringtones can be set within the individual contacts. You'll need to download something to do it in groups. (now what was that app?)You can do a search and I will to. If I see it, I'll reply again.

Guest rasncain Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Remember though I am looking for different email notification tones, not ring tones. I can easily do different ring tones for each individual contact. I cannot however seem to do different email notification tones, the only place to set the email notification tone is in the main settings which is used for every contact.
Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Sorry...I totally missed that you were looking for email notification rather than ringtones. None that I know of though.
