Guest xelar Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 Have read about changing the look of the home screen, but is it also possible to change the font size on all screens and in all menues? Nina is fine but I don't want it bold and maybe a bit smaller.
Guest lutzh Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 nice question, buddy. i don't have an answer but i would like to make the operator-font-size a bit bigger, since the dumb german D2 for vodafone is nearly invisible infront of the homescreen picture. therefore i would be thankful for an answer too! cheers, lutz
Guest muude Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 Try this, I dunno if this is what you're looking for: Settings>Accissibility>System font size
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 xelar: your problem is probably solved with the above suggestion. Lutz: Just add a tag around your operator plugin, you can specify font size/colour etc. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default....2homescreen.asp for futher details.
Guest zenabi Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 xelar: There isn't any simple way to do what you want, perhaps it's possible by editing some registry values. lutz: Add the font-size attribute to the text tag the surrounds the carrier element. For example: <text font-size="24" font-weight="bold"><carrier/></text> Monolithix: I didn't know the tag was supported, does it work?
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 er, maybe i was thinking of the tag. I've been happy with my own for the past 3-4 weeks, haven't looked up on them since then ;)
Guest lutzh Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 thx to all - now i can see if i am connected to the right provider. now i am dreaming about scrolling texts linke time/date/missed calls/messages/apointments... think that is possible??? cheers, lutz
Guest xelar Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Somehow doesn't work. Changed all the font tags in the XML files, but screen and menues still look the same, even after reboot. Anyway, not so important, can live with the default settings. Thanks anyway for all the hints.
Guest lutzh Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 hi together - another question regarding the carrier tag: would it be possible to get a little gif of the operator logo instead of having a text there? i think about having a small vodafone image somewhere stored and simply linked it to the slot on the home screen. can we do that? cheers, lutz
Guest zenabi Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 lutz: You can do it by making a background that includes the logo where you want it on the screen. I don't think there is any easier way to do it. Edit: I just had a thought, the Orange shortcut plugin allows you to define your own image for a shortcut, perhaps you could play about with that to get what you want.
Guest lutzh Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 hi zenabi, you're right, that may be a way - where do i get it? cheers, lutz
Guest zenabi Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 you're right, that may be a way - where do i get it? Where do you get what exactly? Sorry I don't really understand what you want...
