Guest hotphil Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 (edited) This may be more of a WM5 topic, so forgive me if it's in the wrong section. My Vario spends quite a lot of its time being moved from Wi-Fi areas, to GPRS-only locations, to being connected to a USB pass-thru connection. What frustrates me is the balloons that appear every time it, for instance, is unplugged from USB and starts to initiate a GPRS connection. Is there any way at all to turn these off? Permanently. I'm happy with the animated icons in the top bar to know what it's up to, and data's unlimited anyway so I'm not fussed when it uses GPRS! Edited August 1, 2006 by hotphil
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Start Menu - Settings Sounds and Notifications Notifications tab Select "Connection established" from the drop-down box and untick the "Display message on screen" Select "Wireless network detected" and untick the same box Job done!
Guest hotphil Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Hey, that's the one! I didn't check that one as the ballon referred to 'connecting' rather than 'connected'. Ta.
