faulty fone....

Hi guys

My beloved SPV C500 has developed a physical fault for which Orange are going to swap the phone out,however my fone is FULL of programs ringtones txt messages etc i want to keep.

Is there any way i can clones the fones as i would really like to keep everything especially the sms's ?

THere is sprite backup as an option but otherwise ringtones and such can be copied to the pv with Activesync.

What's the actual problem with the phone?

Hi yeah well,i use the fone in a car hands free kit alot and suddenly the fone when in the kit decides its not or there is a very loud cracklin comming out of the loudspeaker in car and it does not charge,also when the fone is out of the kit it suddenly thinks it is in the kit and there is no audio,or when somebody rings it it rings like it was in the car kit so on so on, i had a friend who had similar probs anf the fault was up inside the fone where it connect into the kit.

Anyway i hav alot of programs and about 800 sms messages i really dont want to loose when i change it over so i would really like to clone it or back up the sms part......phew!

Any help would be appreciated

if you just want a backup of your sms, try Jeyo mobile Extender (copy all sms in an outlook PST file, like emails), or jeyo mobile companion (stand alone app to backup / manage contacts sms et call history) both sharewares here
