Hard Reset or ROM update

Hello

I have been using the Imate ROM on my Vario for quite a while now and all is going well, however I have got a few problems and the device is getting a bit slow and messy so I have decided a reset is in order, as the new TMob ROM has been out for a bit now if I am going to reset it I might as well put the new ROM on at the same time, so my question is, to those who have been using the new ROM, is it worth it? Any major gains or downsides, or should I just stick the I-mate ROM that I have found to be very stable?

One thing I have noticed since using this ROM is that the screen refuses to come one sometimes and a soft reset fixes it.

It could be due to a rogue app or game I have but I've never seen this problem before.

Apart from that I do not notice any real difference with the new ROM and I don't use push email etc.
