USB Quadruple Charger for Cars !

Just had an epiphany tonight and it worked , I thought i'd share it in case it helps anyone else.

I ordered a Cigarette lighter charger for my new C600 , but it did'nt arrive, so I improvised !

I need (to date) 1 Lead for Phone , 1 Lead for GPS , but have only the GPS cigarette lighter charger,

Solution .....

A cheap 4 port external USB Hub off my PC that I don't use !

I currently have hidden behind my car dashboard a cigarette socket , so I plugged in the GPS charger USB socket plug,then sent the other end to the external hub , then ran 2 spare usb mini leads to the phone and the gps , and it worked !

Both are charging , and I have a further 2 spare sockets for any other toys that come along.

I will try to post photos of the install over the next day or two as I dont want to tempt fate and pull things out in a hurry , but needless to say I was amazed it worked, but it did.
