Guest flodis79 Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Have anyone found any registry tweak for adding more categories available when adding a calendar appointment? A way to add more subject categories than meet with, call, lunch, dinner, visit, birthday and complete?
Guest chucky.egg Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 IIRC the phone will only store Categories that have at least one item associated with them. If you create a dummy calendar appointment you should be able to create new Categories to associate it with (you can associate multiple Categories with one item), and as long as that calendar item stays on your phone it will keep those Categories available. If you sync your device with a PC it might automatically remove older items, so you may be better off creating a Task or Contact to associate the new Categories with... I think the Categories are shared between all PIM items
