Guest odt Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Hey guys, only got my c600 a few weeks ago as a replacement for my dodgy c550 and love the phone to bits, app unlocked it, sim unlocked, played duke nukem to death on it etc..... .....then i realised my contract was up at the end of the month...... hell, i was trying to upgrade to the c600 for ages, so i might as well upgrade, flog the upgrade and make a few bob.... well, my upgrade arrived yesterday in the form of a shiny new Sony Ericsson k800i. Its so responsive, amazing camera app included, its has a great inbuilt radio, it supports all my wav and mp3 ringtones, and it looks outstanding. but now i'm torn, its been a while since i had a 'dumb' phone, but i realise that everything i 'put up' with on my smartphone is unneccessary..... ...help me, a c600 will get me virtually nothing on ebay, even with the 1gb and 128 cards thrown in, as it was a replacement so there is no box. help convince me that my c600 is worth sticking with for the next 12 months until i'm due a further upgrade!!!!

Sync with Outlook! Even if you don't use this for work, you cant get a better method of backing up your phone. Excellent internet explorer compared to dumb phones version Excellent range of apps compared to dumb phones the list goes on ..........

Tried to find some development news/discussion for Sony Ericsson but there is absolutely nothing. everyone is just happy to have the phone as it arrives and not be able to cchange anything except the ringtones. whereas i love testing and trying out new apps on my smartphone, and i decided that i couldnt do without Picodrive when the missis leaves me in the car while she goes to the shops. W4lly, its amazingly true tht you can watch (and enjoy fully) movies on the smartphone....i watched Life of Brian in 3 sittings while waiting to pick people up :-) odt
