SPV C600 ROM upgrage to MoDaCo ROM

Hello, im currently trying to install the custom MoDaCo ROM on my SPV c600, using the guides @

so far i have managed to install the SP5 ROM correctly and the phone works fine, however when trying to install the custom ROM (http://wiki.spv-developers.com/Patched_C600_ROM) I receive a failure saying that the ROM us for upgrade only ;).

Its been a long time since ive done ROM flashing, (when i had my C500 :) ), and from what i remember this means that i need to flash the boot loader from the MoDaCo ROM onto the phone before it will install correctly.

Could anyone point me in the right direction as to what i need to do next?

oh please someone must know how to do this !!

ive got as far as trying to emergency flash the SPL with the real orange ROM, but get :

Failure before SPL flash (Unknown bootloader SHA1 signature (NOT FLASHED))

the current boot loader is version 2.00.0006

please any help would be appreciated!

my phone didnt already have update but was unlocked and app unlocked with reg thing,

Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies:

Change the DWORD named "1001" to 1

Change the DWORD named "1005" to 40

also done CID change thing?
