Abaxia / Orange Plugin - WTF!?

Ok, I'm stumped with this bloody thing...

If you move the iconbar under the Orange plugin, you're STILL are left with a 20px gap above it. Also, you can't set the background to be transparent, it will always display either an image you have set (within the plugin code) or the image set in the homescreen setting page and the image will always start from 20px down.

These two problems have pretty much killed the theme I was working on, Vistalicious. So the question is, does anyone know how to get rid of the 20px gap and make the bg of the plugin transparent?

I'm hoping it's just something stupid I've missed...haven't done Smartphone homescreens for a long time :)

I don't think you can do that. The abaxia plugin is rubbish, and the fact that O ditched the amazing e200 plugin, with all it's multiple features in favour of the abaxia piece of s**t that no one can customise is one of the main reasons I abandoned smartphone for PPC.

In all the time the abaxia plugin has been in use the only customisation I know of is to replace the icons & the web links, while the original e200 plugin could do just about anything you wanted it to. :)

No ways to use the e200 plugin then and not use the albaxia one?

The Vistalicious skin looks really really nice.

Whats your purpose for the Orange plugin? May be another way of getting around it without using it?

Bah...why did I know someone would say that :D

@W4lly: wanted to use the abaxia plugin because i thought it would be quick and simple ;) I'll prolly just use some other plugin(s) when I get some time.
