Guest aurora7795 Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 I've been looking around at console emulation on windows Mobile 5 and have not found too much out there available. It is obviously possible because there are already CE emulators out there but WM5-specific ones are thin on the ground. I'd love to get some old SNES, Mega Drive/Genesis or Game Boy games on my device! I was thinking about what I would like out of a WM5 emulator. If anyone can point me in the right direction of finding something with these features, that would be grand. 1) Support for WM5 horizontal screen - I've got an MDA Vario with a screen that will run natively horizontal when you flip out the keyboard. Unfortunately all of the emulators I have used have not really understood this and either crash or keep the screen vertical. 2) Support for WM5 thumb keyboards - kinda linking into the above statement, my MDA Vario has a lovely little keyboard that is screaming to be used for playing Mario. Unfortunately, there are no programs that appear to use the keyboard or allow me to configure the controls for the keyboard. 3) Support for WM5 'soft buttons' - not a necessity but I do like the 'soft button' idea and think it would be nice for something to support it. Anyone have any other suggestions?
