Guest RIPin@ Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 Device: O2 Xda phone The day before yersteday i have mad ROM backup using command r2sd all, and have made miniSD copy to the file with ntrw.exe program. After making copy, I have successfuly restored this rom from miniSD. When I done this I update my rom to i-mate SP5m 2.6.332.1 ROM. After using it some times, i notice, that it works no so fast as earlier ROM, but it works longer on battery. I want to restore my backup to see is it realy works fast and get some usefull information and files from that ROM. I have made backup of my new ROM. Copy it with the same programm. Using this programm restore to card my old Backup and insert into device. I had "checksum error" while i was restoring my backup. I write new ROM backup, and process ends successfully. Than i write last backup and have "checksum error" again. After some times my phone did not restore any backup new or old. But when i made backup of new rom again my phone allow me to restore the ROM. But when i write old backup device ignore it. Does any body know what to do?

I've got a CF card wich do the same on my camera. i take a pic, i can see it back, but after a time, pic isn't readable anymore...
Guest RIPin@ Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 On of the most funniest thing is i restore from this card then. But i still can not restore my old backup
