Im thinking of upgrading to the SPV M3100, just wondering about the gps side aswell. Interested to hear any experiences...

All your software is pretty much screwed.

You could ask the software companies for upgrades but I suspect you'll get not a lot of joy, unless they have some weird licensing arrangement with you, without paying.

It's a different operating system, much the same as you can't buy a piece of Mac software and throw it onto a PC (YES I KNOW, Wine, VMWare etc, don't bloody start...!)

Your GPS stuff is hardware, so if you have problems with that as regards integrating it with a new handset, I'd never buy anything from that company ever again! It's bluetooth enabled so you should notice no differences with any of that.
