Problem Uninstalling Apps on SPVM600

For the last day or two, whenever i try to uninstall an application i get the message "(App name) was not completely removed", in reality it seems it they've not been removed at all, as the icon in Programs is always still there, as is the entire application if i browse the device with Resco Explorer. This is happening with everything on the device, new installation or old. The only solution is to use Resco Explorer to delete them, and then Memmaid to tidy up the shortcuts and registry settings, which is a bit of a faff.

Does anyone else have this problem?
