some of you here might know i have 2 slight obsession for painting my phones (purple c550 and red+black c500) and i am preparing to do the same to my qtek 8310....

i'm leaving the glossy black plastic as it is and concentrating on the grey areas. already taken it back to the very pale grey plastic and i'm now wondering..... what colour should i paint it?! i'm torn between white (shame i can put a modaco dude + logo on as well :)) and black to match the other plastic...

so i thought i'd put the question to you good people here on modaco!

suggestions and comments welcome!

Yeh white here too :)

OHHH MAAAAN... You HAVE to do it white!.....

I tried to paint a cell phone before (Sony Ericsson T616) but that didnt go too well. How did your other phones turn out when you painted it? And what kind of paint and whatever do you use?

Uh I suppose I could send you it. (Can't hink of anything I'll need it for in future anyway)

Just to let you know, the blue spray I used remained sticky, it just wouldn't dry. I ended up buying a new housing of Fluffcat1

that'd be great :)

how was the white paint? did that dry? i'll probably bake them in the oven for something like 24 hours though or test it on the inside of the battery cover...

also anybody got any suggestions for stenciling on the modaco dude and logo?

I've now taken off (nearly, i ran out of sand paper :) ) all that silvery grey paint and i'm left with a very pale grey plastic so i thought i'd take a few 'in progess' photos for you. btw i'm going to paint the comm manager and volume buttons black :D

Its looking good already :(

ok so i've now sprayed it white... mixed feelings about it as i was forced to strip all the paint off while it was still semi wet thanks to my sister sneezing over it :)
