Sony Ericsson P990i a rival?

Hello know this is a smartphone based fourm but looking at my next upgrade and I like the m3100 but is the Sony Ericsson P990i a worthy rival to this handset? Both phones look dam good. I did have a play with the M600 and found it to fiddly for my on the move life style and had problems with the WIFI connections with my setup and see one of the above two as the next step.

Yes, this is mainly a Windows powered smartphone forum, but the P990 is a smartphone ( and a very good one at that!) by anyone's standards.

I had a brief opportunity to use one for a while, and I have to say that it is a very nice piece of kit ... the only thing that I disliked about it was the 'keypad under another keypad' design that SE have used , which limits the size of the screen.

Still, you will probably find it easy to use on the move - especially for texting and stuff, and this might be an advantage for the P990 as I understand that the phonepad feature has been removed from the M3100 due to the cost of maintaining a T9 predictive text licence.

Specs wise, I think that the P990 is the equal of the M3100.

That said ..... all I want in the whole world is a shiny new M3100 :)
