Qtek 8310 microphone low volume

I've had the Qtek 8310 for a month or so....and people are complaining that they are having trouble hearing me. They say the volume is very low. Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the microphone volume? Where is the microphone located? I really can't see it...i would like to inspect it to see if anything is blocking it.

Mic is the small hole just under the * key.

for mic volume increase, there must be a registry hack somewhere, but never seen / tested...

I've had people complain about low mic volume as well. I usually cup my hand around the mic when somebody complains to guide the sound into the it.

Would be nice to crank up the volume a notch though!

Any trix?
