Guest mugenakuma Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I am trying to create a link or shortcut on my XV6700 within Resco Exploer and/or file explorer but cannot remember how. On my old mpx200 smpartphone I remember there being an option to create links. Anyone know how I can do this with my phone? Do I need to get another file explorer program? Any help would be most appreciated.
Guest Laser_iCE Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 In the normal explorer, hold the stylus down on the item that you want to create the shortcut for, and then go to Copy, then go to where you want to place the shortcut (eg; Windows\Start Menu\Programs) and then press Menu (right softkey) and then Edit and then Paste Shortcut.
Guest mugenakuma Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Thanks for the info. I knew it wasn't too hard :) Now I just need to find a good mp3/music player for my phone. The bundled WMP10 player doesnt seem to recognize many of my premade playlists ;)
Guest Laser_iCE Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 In that case, try TCPMP and if you can get your hands on it, pPod...
Guest mugenakuma Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Hey Lazer big thanks for the pPod recommendation! I just got it and am very impressed. I can't wait to show this program off, especially to my Treo 700p loving friend. :)
Guest Laser_iCE Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 np, it's fun to use, especially using the spinnywheel thing :) It's also cool how the volume hardware control works the volume in pPod ;)
