Guest jimbouk Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 Orange remove MSN messenger from their devices (probably to keep texting income up, but also as they apparently launching their own IM app soon). As said above, you can either install Agile Messenger for free (which works fine on my 3100) or buy MSN as you have already found. I wouldnt buy MSN yet as the Live Mobile app should be along shortly.

Indeed, section 7.3 page 139.. if O are quoting this as a feature in their manual should they offer an install for free or are the manuals due for a re-print? :) Fully

Pete, Nice one! This does indeed work! :D Anyone know if there's any more news on when the Windows Live Messenger for Mobile is going to appear? I've got hold of a hookey copy of the App, and it looks VERY good, but because it's a closed beta - I couldn't appear online in messenger as I'm not part of it.... Thanks, Matt

Guest DJDB Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Hello all - my first post! A health warning for all those pondering buying the "official" pocket MSN to get messenger on the M3100. It rather rudely puts your touch screen out of action. Which, after an uninstall and hard reset, leaves you with a nice looking but useless lump of technology. Orange have replaced the unit (and nicely credited the cost of the pocket MSN software) but told me NOT to put pocket MSN on again. It is a known bug now! A real shame - I just hope whatever bug it is gets sorted soon. D.
