Guest jotto Posted August 15, 2006 Report Posted August 15, 2006 I've got a HTC Mteor and I'm very happy with it, but there is one big nuisance: when the screen goes black after a few seconds of inactivity, I have to press a button to turn on the screen again. This is fine, but this keypress is sent to the active application. On my previous phone, an SE K750i, the first keypress was only used to quit "screensaver" mode. If, for example, the SMS inbox is the active application and I press the left key to turn on the screen again, this keypress is sent to the SMS application, resulting in the "new message" dialog. Quite irritating. The best solution I've found is to press the power button. I have to select cancel in order to get rid of the "quick list", but at least I don't tamper with the active application. Any ideas?
