Flashing the C600

Hi,

I have just bought SPV C600 from Orange (Poland). Phone is quite nice but very slow, and it has an application lock. I've been trying to unlock it useing the instructions from Modaco forum but it won't work. Probably the phone is secured against changes in the registry. Any try of makeing changes in the reg gives no effect. I have red on some other forum, that my phone have newer rom witch not allow to edit more important values in the reg. So the only solution is to flash it. I tryed to use i-mate_SP5m_WWE_2.6.331.2.zip from ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/ But i couldn't flash it, because the message was "this software is not compatible with a device" :/

Any one can help me to flash this phone?

yes, newest C600 have a stronger protection.

check out this topic and follow instructions (send mail to orange staff), to get decert application.

after that you should be able to totaly decert using this guide

and after if you want to change rom it will be possible....
