Button reassignment on C550?

Hi all

Does anyone know of a way to reassign a button on smartphone c550? My top left button (the one that runs the start command) hardly works at all, I've taken the phone apart, cleaned contacts etc and still no good.

What I'd like to do to get around this problem is reassign the 'home' button (or any other button really) to perform the start button function. Can this be done? Is there maybe a registry entry or something that I can change for this?

Would really apprectiate any help on this, as my phone is virtually unusable at the moment!
