Guest xspyda Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 I have just changed from C500 to C600 and Jeyo Mobile Companion no longer works. Does anyone have it working successfully with their C600 - and if so, what build of JMC? Cheers.

Hi I'm using it successfully on my c600, no problem. you need to application unlock your C600 first. see topics on Modaco about that...

Interesting. I just tried again with build 838 (was using 830) before and it now works! Maybe it's an update in the build or perhaps it was conflicting with something else. What build are you on scudo, and does the inbox refresh automatically when an sms is received or do you have to force a manual refresh? Thanks.

Hi glad if it works without app unlock :) I'm on build 838 like you. I need to refresh manualy to get new sms....
Guest xspyda Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Hi glad if it works without app unlock :) Nope, it's unlocked. Not sure if it works without as I never tried it. I'm on build 838 like you. I need to refresh manualy to get new sms.... Yep, that's a pain. The previous build (830) refreshes automatically, can't understand why that's changed in 838 - and why it hasn't been patched in a new release. Still, at least it works better than it did last time I tried it! Cheers for your input! :)

Hi ok that's why it works then.... jmc needs app unlock as it is not signed ;) the essential is that main functions (compose, archive..) do work, isn't it ? :D cheers :) Edited August 17, 2006 by scudo
Guest xspyda Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 the essential is that main functions (compose, archive..) do work, isn't it ? :D Sure, but why remove functionality (the auto refresh) in a later version when it was working perfectly in build 830? Makes little sense ...
Guest scudo Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 Sure, but why remove functionality (the auto refresh) in a later version when it was working perfectly in build 830? In my opinion, they did NOT removed it... just that it doesn't work correctly. in jeyo expander 2, I've got the same problem... refresh on startup, but need to be done manually later...
Guest xspyda Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 In my opinion, they did NOT removed it... just that it doesn't work correctly. You could be right. Surprised they haven't fixed it though - surely I am not the only one to have noticed it?
