Guest kelv23 Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 I might need a GPS unit for my work as I drive for a living, I already use a BT headset as I dont want to get any more points on my license . Question is could I use two BT devices at the same time ie headset and GPS without any problems? Cheers

Hi Kelv AFAIK, as BT headset et BT GPS don't use the same way (one use a serial mapping, the other not), they could be used at same time. maybe you could experience some lag while using both at same time... cheers
Guest mini_man Posted August 17, 2006 Report Posted August 17, 2006 Yeh bluetooth allows more than one device in use at time. Loadsa people use tomtom and a bt headset at the same time. Sam

Sam Cheers guys, I suppose its a bit of "try it and see" with regards to performance/lag but as long as BT can support two devices at once I'll give it a go.
Guest conan_troutman Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 when pairing the devices tick the hands free fro the head set and serial for the GPS mine works fine if you foret to to opt for serial on the GPS the headset will sometime dissconnect. also if you place a call then hang up befor it dials you get the instructions through the head set
