Removing languages

I had an idea to free up some space from my phone by removing unused language file. So i look up in the windows folder of my SP5 for all files containing different languages (files having same file name but with different numbers that represent other languages such as 0407,0409,0405,...etc) and since i only use english i thaught i could delete all the other language files and free some space. Any way, i first copy all those files to keep a back up (and to be amazed they are about 4mb in size) then i try to delete them but no success. Error deleting file.

Can anyone give me hint on how to do it or even if it is possible?

In the phone use file manager, goto windows, menu, options, Under "File browser settings" uncheck all.

Then for each file move highlight over it and goto menu again, properties, uncheck Archive. This should do it.
