Orange SMTP Authentication DOES work when connected through WIFI

For those who are interested. I know some people were unsure whether O supported it or not.

I ticked 'Outgoing mail requires authentication' and unticked 'Use separate settings' so it used my POP3 userid and password (userid in format [email protected]).

Yeah I updated the other thread when I realised that just the phone number allowed you to log in and send/receive when via orange world, but only to send via other connections - and the phone [email protected] allowed all previous functions.

I wish they would disable the phone number log in so that you know whats wrong!
