Guest sablekeech Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 I bought my C600 last year, and could SWEAR I configured OWA access to my OWA server at work. Now, however, I cannot remember for the life of me how I set it up - it wasn't through the browser, I am sure I had it setup as a messaging option. Please, someone save my sanity... Thanks in advance!! SK
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 OWA? You mean you want to configure Exchange server? P
Guest sablekeech Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 OWA? You mean you want to configure Exchange server? P Basically, I had access to my mailbox over gprs, access my outlook web access server and downloading my messages - kinda like a BB, but not.

I do believe I have cracked it! I shall post the method once I have confirmed it, just in case anyone else wants to know :D
Guest sablekeech Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Attach your device Open up ActiveSync Once it has synched, goto Tools, Configure Server Source Server Address: Enter your OWA http server address Check the SSL box Enter your NT username: joe.bloggs etc Enter your NT password: yourowapassword Enter your NT Domain: eu.company.com Choose the conflict resolution you want Click OK Allow device to synchronise Detach device - it may ask you on the device if you wish it to regularly connect to the server - I choose no, as this gives me greater control over GPRS costs. You're all set - you should now be able to send and receive mails to and from your dudey handset!
Guest slimgym Posted August 22, 2006 Report Posted August 22, 2006 Cool! (right up until the point it tells me my exchange account does not have sufficient permissions and to contact my exchange administrator). D'oh! For a moment there it looked great!
