Guest nickcornaglia Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 ...if you download and install it. Awaiting my TYTN which arrives tomorrow and reading thru all of the threads so I can optimize my setup. If I have everything I need....then I can sit at my PC waiting for the mailman to arrive tomorrow! (But I'll start now!) :D I was breezing thru XDA-Developers.com threads too as well as their FTP files and noticed two PhonePad downloads in the uploads section. One for English and one International. Downloaded and ready to install.....come on TYTN! :D

Guest darrellr Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 ........ and it works a treat :D Blue not green . . I got my Vario II and tried to install by double clicking the CAB on the PPC and also using Paul's CABviaActiveSync but on both occasions the Vario fails to reset properly. It sticks on the blue Windows Mobile Screen. Any ideas?

Copy the file to somewhere on the Vario, change the file attribute to Read Only (to prevent it being deleted if anything goes awry) and try running it from there. Might work. Personally I wouldn't have even tried it any other way.

When it has finally restarted there is no new app.

Guest dejul23 Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 Yeh works exactly the same as the the phone pad on the mini 's'
Guest NikLP Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 The SIP changer prog doesn't seem to work though, or is that just me? :D
Guest Dr Who Posted August 31, 2006 Report Posted August 31, 2006 The SIP changer prog doesn't seem to work though, or is that just me? :D Mine works, but if Phonepad is selected it likes to be maximised by default on a lot of the screens.
