Disable Voice Recorder Sounds

I'm using the Voice Recorder on my 5600 smartphone.

When you begin recording a note or end recording of a note, a beep is played. I have set HKCU/ControlPanel/Sounds/VRecbeg and HKCU/ControlPanel/Sounds/VRecend to "*none*", or a different sound, or I have changed the value "Sound" to "Sound1" and it still plays the default beep.

Has anyone have any luck in changing these these sound? I would like for there to be no sounds at all.

Did you restart your phone after doing the changes? If you did, did you check that the changes stayed after the reboot? That's where you do it. Changing the value data from RecEnd.mid or RecStart.mid to *none* is supposed to work.
